Terms of Participation
1. Upper limit of number of participants
10 choruses or orchestras of any age and composition (also dance groups). The participating groups will be selected by the artistic committee from all applications, based on the descriptions and recordings received.
2. Registration
Please send a recent photograph, a description of the chorus or orchestra, a recording made within the last year and suggestions for your program.
Registration must be completed by March 1st (date of postmark).
3. Program
We request a secular program of maximum 15 minutes. Choruses may sing either a-cappella or with accompaniment (please bring your own instruments). The music should be typical of your home country, and performance in national dress if applicable is desired. A grand piano will be provided for the Gala Concert. The artistic director reserves the right to change the program if necessary.
4. CANTUS MM - Compulsory Piece
A compulsory piece will be made known by the artistic committee. This piece will be performed by all the choruses and orchestras at the end of the Gala Concert. Music will be sent after acceptance and registration.
5. Gala Concert
Each group will perform in the Gala Concert on Friday evening with a program of secular music that should last a maximum of 15 minutes. On Friday afternoon each group has about 15 minutes for a technical rehearsal. The schedule will be announced upon arrival.
PLEASE NOTE: Participation in the concert can only be ensured by providing your exact program.
6. Individual Performance Venues
Possibility of an outdoor concert at Mirabell Gardens Salzburg for the participating groups or for participating choirs to sing during a Sunday morning mass service in one of the beautiful
churches in Salzburg or surrounding area. The artistic director reserves the right to change the program should it be necessary.

Registration
1. Registration Fee
The registration fee has to be paid for all participants (members of the chorus, orchestra, conductor, group leader and others). Inclusions: Participation at all cultural and social events during the Festival. Concert organisation, Gala Concert and individual performance venues. Cantus composition, 1 x warm main-course, 1 x buffet-dinner with entertainment, CHORUS MM assistant, souvenir gift.
2. Registration Deadline
The deadline for registration is 1st March. Registrations received after this deadline can only be cosidered upon availability
3. Registration
An advance payment of Euro 500,-- is due upon registration; payment to our account at the Oberbank Salzburg IBAN AT 02 1509 0001 2136 2727, BIC OBKLAT2L.
The advance payment will be credited to the final invoice. The minimum total number of participants for the festival is 250. In case of a lower number of participants CHORUS MM reserves the right to cancel the festival. Advance payments will be reimbursed in full. With receipt of your advance payment the registration is binding.
